The Story Behind Vegan The Sticker

2017

The moment everything changed...

Although many moments led me toward veganism, it was Cowspiracy that pushed me over the edge. After watching it, I was in shock. One documentary was all it took to split my life into a before and after. It became the point of no return. Learning about the cruelty behind dairy made me go vegan instantly.

2022

Wanting to do more

Over time, I realized that simply not eating animals wasn’t enough. I’m vegan for the animals, not just for myself, and I wanted to help more people move toward eating less meat, or ideally, going vegan.

That’s when it hit me: stickers. A quiet way to advocate. Just a message in a small package. Something people can reflect on in their own time. I started designing my own, stuck them on my things, and soon after, began selling them on Etsy.

2024

Stickers for everyone, everywhere

After seeing the impact of putting up my own vegan stickers, I decided to go bigger. I created Vegan The Sticker to focus solely on distributing as many stickers as I can. A way for anyone (introverted or outspoken) to be an advocate.

Stickers may be small, but their ability to spark thought, start conversations, and make veganism visible is huge.

Each sticker is a message of advocacy. A little nudge toward awareness. A reminder that compassion belongs everywhere.

Why stickers?

  • Because visibility

    Veganism still feels invisible in many places. But just like marketing teaches us: the more we see something, the more normal it becomes.

    Labeling ourselves, decorating laptops and bottles, stickering our streets: it all helps. Every sticker chips away at the idea that veganism is extreme, weird, or irrelevant. We’re here. We care. We’re not going away.

  • Because connection matters

    There’s nothing like spotting a sticker on someone else’s stuff: it’s an instant connection.

    It reminds us that we’re not alone in how we see the world. Seeing a sticker out in public is proof that there are others out there who care just as much as we do. Strangers, maybe, but part of the same movement. The same values. The same hope. That kind of connection matters. Especially in a world where it can feel like you’re the only one paying attention.

  • Because we need every type of advocate

    Whether you’re loud and proud or quiet and subtle like me, there’s a place for you in this movement. We need every kind of advocate, because this cause is urgent, and we know it. The animals can’t wait. The planet can’t wait.

    We see what’s at stake, even if most people don’t yet. That’s why visibility matters. That’s why you matter.
